I feel your hurt.

A few goes back I triumphantly got the pangram on Spelling Bee. It was clearly "downpipe".

But the fuckpumps upstairs, the ones that own the computer, said no. Apparently "downpipe" is not a word.

Put me right off it did.

I did get a little look inside one of the flanking quarter circle returns to rejoin to the line of the main wing. very interesting as it has a drainage downpipe and a convenience.
But were these cut off as mere closets in the original late 16th fitting-out of the interior?

My handyman is here today. I used to have a downpipe running into a drain through the middle of this very narrow walkway. He has diverted it and run it back to the drain plus attached 4 new waterbutts. I have 2500lts of water capacity throughout the garden now. I’ll be ready for next year’s drought
