drg quests are super fun to me bc the man isn’t even doing his job, just running round with the eye and avoiding actual responsibilities. His character description on the hw website refers to him as long absent. He hates paperwork. Heustienne should’ve smacked him. and now he’s mr live laugh love!

His entire thing is such a hilarious turn around if you played first dragoon too. neve fails to tickle me that this DRG story NPC got such a huge part and then just... goes off and does his own thing

DRG infiltration is the cheap version of maneuver warfare: no breakthrough, just termites. Losing the highway means Omelnyk gets shelled, and Omelnyk is the artery. Orikhiv's entire problem fits in one line.

I gave my WoL my height bc I thought it would be funny (155cm/5’1ft) — the exception is that, unlike me, she makes up for it via drg jumps 🥲
She doesn’t mind her height since its a result from being slightly malnourished post-calamity but it enables her to slip in and out of situations quietly

I gave my WoL my height bc I thought it would be funny (155cm/5’1ft) — the exception is that, unlike me, she makes up for it via drg jumps 🥲

I'm leaning towards Misago's less-armored looks starting to have more armor thanks to Estinien's influence, so the Voidmoon one is a good example of that. Radiant fending is his go-to "heavy" armor that he'll be in for sure.

Since ShB trailer showed us that job based load outs are canon, he has a main weapon for every job he uses (rpr, drg, drk, mnk? brd? mch? vpr? nin?) as well as his handy dagger for emergency oh shit moments.

it is lowkey breaking my heart knowing full well allieda would have been a more stable person earlier in the wolcanon if she was a limsa starter with rog/nin instead of a gridania starter with lnc/drg she could have had actual friends!!!!!!!! instead of BUMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I feel you but kinda in the opposite direction lol I have a lot of ones that suit traveling/adventuring/BRD but haven’t nailed down a good armor look for her DRG!

WAR/DRG/MNK/SAM/PLD all feel a bit more niche in how they apply to a wol's story (a lot of those are fairly focused on one nation/city-state as their setting and context) whereas DRK/RPR tap into the wol's status as an adventurer and wanderer.

Incidentally it's why I kinda can't play wingspan or DRG anymore. Wingspan was my go-to cozy destress game and DRG is genuinely one of the best co-ops ever made, but Ive played 1000 hours of each too. There are so many more wonderful things I could and should do with my life.
