🐉 #Dracember2026 🐉

I have been wanting to give my fellow Draconic OC creators more to do, but I wanted to give you all a bit of time, since things will be busy. I created some prompts with the aid of @bizzybelle.bsky.social and @kazethebreezy.bsky.social. Inside this post is a better view of them.
Irisia Deathsong hands up Sunny to Bizzy, who reaches down to reclaim her son after a tumble onto the other dragon who caught him. The two in Zenith and upon the wall is a poster for Dracember with the prompts. The Poster reads: Dracember 1) Beginnings 2) Journey 3) Legacy 4) Name 5) Tail 6) Battle 7) Eyes 8) Scales 9) Teeth 10) Flight/Wings 11) Peace 12) Embrace 13) Fear 14) Mate/Love 15) Claws 16) Shrine 17) Home/Den 18) Hoard 19) Freedom 20) Gold 21) Magic 22) Reflection 23) Fire/Ice 24) Dreams 25) Kin/Clutch 26) Hatch/Birth 27) Star 28) Fury/Ire 29) Unknown/Discovery 30) Brooding 31) Conclusion/Future

Flying Zane the Zard

Heyhey, it's Dracember! (I mean... technically Charizard isn't a dragon type... but who cares??? XD )

Watch out when that smirky Zard flies over you. You never know what's on his mind :3

What a fine book! Read “Hollywood Gothic: The Tangled Web of Dracula” by David J. Skal, and it was amazing. About how Dracula came to be, and what was the character’s journey to where it is today. | #dracember #dracember2024 #dracula #booksky | 💙📚 | nightmodereading.wordpress.com

Was very excited to pick up Strange New World by Vivian Shaw, fourth book in Dr. Greta Helsing series. The half-way book had Dracula as one of the protagonists, and, of course, he was here too. But sadly, plot revolved around the aftermath of book three. #booksky #dracember
strange new world by vivian shaw, fourth book in dr. greta helsing book series cover, a hand is holding a martini glass with red liquid in it, and a pierced eyeball, with a semi-medical cross with a skull above it, with arched windows behind it, and a cityscape behind them, in reds, blues, and whites. black-framed lg tablet is placed on a grey wooden table, on top of a vampire hunter d manga, and a dracula tarot cards showing ace of stakes in flames, a few more red cards are visible face-down, alongside other items, such as bandana with skull pattern on it, and an ouroborus ring on a string. image and review by wannabekingpin aka vakaris

The Librarian movie trilogy, with the last one, Curse of the Judas Chalice, telling a tale of a conspiracy to revive prince Vlad Dracul for quite surprising reasons, and even more surprising outcome. | #dracula #dracember #dracember2024 #thelibrarian
The Librarian: Curse of the Judas Chalice movie title card, as viewed on a laptop, lit by white and blue lights from above. Keyboard, backlit with white light, has a hand on it, with a little ring in a shape of a bat.

Love Vivian Shaw and her Dr. Greta Helsing series on a doctor for the supernaturals. I didn’t entirely expect more after the last book. Nor did I expect Bitter Waters to have Dracula in it. And so well written too. 🦇 wannabekingpin.substack.com | #dracember #dracula #vivianshaw #booksky
bitter waters by vivian shaw book cover, portraying a green inside of the house, with a tall french window through which a silhouette of a figure holding a smaller one is visible, with bats above them, implying something supernatural. black-framed LG tablet is placed on a dark grey wooden table, with various items strewn around, such as hellsing manga pages, lighter, a ring with coffin on it, earphones, leather gloves, round shades, black candle, a corner of a black faux leather notebook. image and review by wannabekingpin aka vakaris

I’ve debated if Blood Orange by Karina Halle is a suitable book for Dracember, and came to conclusion that it really is. Dracula here is just some random man, but it’s still more than some other books I’ve read. | #dracula #dracember #dracember2024 #booksky | 💙📚 nightmodereading.wordpress.com
blood orange by karina halle, first book in dracula duet series, portraying red and orange and white flowers, with a blood orange slice in the middle. Onto third book of Blood Oath, with Bite of Vengeance by R.L. Caulder. Plot thickened; things got more interesting. So, either it got better, or I got invested, this being second half of the series already. | #dracula #dracember2024 #dracember #booksky | nightmodereading.wordpress.com
bite of vengeance by R.L. Caulder, third book in blood oath vampire fantasy series, portraying a young woman in leathers and an overbust corset, standing among smoldering ruins, looking amused and determined. Black framed LG tablet is placed on a dark grey wooden table, atop a red sky painting, with full moon and clouds on it, a little bat in the corner. A tarot card of a stake in flames, round black shades, black leather gloves, and more red tarot cards in the background.

It seems we'll never be done with vampires, especially this one. After all, Stoker's "Dracula" novel was never out of print either, and in dark times like these, it only makes sense to seek comfort wherever we can get it (more on personal blog). #dracula #dracember
