#Dragontown landed on my doorstep today. Been running it with my teen group for a while. They’re gonna love the treasure cards. I love the screen! So sleek, low profile and useful info inside. Thank you @jpcoovert.bsky.social! We are having a blast. 🐉🏘️

Dragontown is one of Cooper’s heavier albums. It has some of the Industrial Metal that the previous LP Brutal Planet was built on but not to the same extent. #vinyl #vinylrecords #vinylcollector #vinylcommunity #vinylsky #musicsky

I have issues with writing in pretty, expensive books. Since binding my own photocopies I don’t mind at all. Here’s my GM notes for tomorrow’s #Shadowdark game in #DragonTown.

My box set of Dragontown and the Darkness Below by @jpcoovert.bsky.social arrived - love this campaign, and am running it online right now - going great so far. The artwork is so cute and the scenario well thought out.

Ended my #DragonTown #dnd session last night at the perfect cliffhanger: the group was investigating a temple belonging to some evil batfolk and one player walked right into the magically dark room, disappearing from view!

The table is set. Today, PCs face the infected cleric in the basement of the Sub Rosa. I’m looking forward to seeing what they do!

I'm a bit amused that MLP not only has a "Fillydelphia", but has a Dragontown neighborhood with a mock-up of the 10th Street Arch.

Today in my #DragonTown #dnd game: the party avoided the TPK (and all fights) by convincing the kobolds to lead them through the cave to the lost dwarven kingdom!

Today in my #DragonTown #dnd game: the catapult failed so the party just fought the Alleycats anyway. Now they don’t know how to get over the castle walls to find the dragon hoard they believe is on the other side!

Today’s #DragonTown got us (finally) to Xanthoriel’s lair. PCs avoided the sludge behemoth with stealth and cunning. Instead of stealth rolls we pulled Jenga blocks. It was a lot fun! Lots of tension, squealing and laughing.

I 😍 mashups. Last game I added The Festering Hive in @bobworldbuilder.bsky.social’s book Delve to @jpcoovert.bsky.social’s Dragontown. It’s morphing into a Buffy + Supernatural inspired hunt for The Darkness Below. The bees are infected with The Darkness but I still call them zombees.

It’s been a rough couple weeks. But I did find a some respite in my #DragonTown campaign. Tonight a character ran in fear further down into the crypt, only to get surrounded by zombies that he doesn’t know about yet. I love how #dnd can provide a break from harsh realities!

I've been rereading/skimming ShadowDark, as I'm hoping to run it for the first time.
Thinking about cracking into Slugblaster & I've got Dragontown & the Darkness Below coming in a few days, which I may try to read right away.

Tonight in my #DragonTown #dnd session: the party betrayed the thieves they were working with by sabotaging the catapult…before they got into the castle. Now they don’t have an easy way to the treasure!
