the post-game dragovian lore is just as good as i remember, but i cant help but ask the question, why is it post-game in the first place? this is really crucial stuff thats been foreshadowed via gameplay for the entire runtime, locking it behind the credits is just annoying.

If you go the DQ8 route the Dragovian symbol would be a hell of a good choice imo

And done with the Lord of the Dragovian fight, getting the true ending. Not gonna play the rest of the post game because that just feels like a drag. Gonna sit though while deciding my next long term game.

I don't think I've completely roflstomped the dragon gauntlet post-Dragovian Trials in Dragon Quest VIII as badly as I did just now. I'm used to winning without *too* much trouble, since I power level, but the Lord of the Dragovians barely even put up meaningful resistance this time around.

I miss when great RPGs had things like Ruby Weapon or the Dragovian Trials or the Ancient Cave that you could entirely miss if you weren't a completionist, were much harder than beating the final boss, and were a challenge no matter how strong you were or how much time you grinded things out

A couple years ago, I finally got past the Black Citadel and beat Rhapthorne for the first time on the file my Dad and I started. Currently on my way to the Dragovian Trials on that one.
On my own save, I'm just trying to grind and level up as much as I can before facing Dhoulmagus.

So the prescription which was allegedly delivered on the 16 and then out for delivery on the 17th is, as of 5:15 this morning, going to be delivered today by 3AM.

I've been debating posting this for like an hour, because January's blender project is trivial given the state of the world, but...fuck it.
The final project, with the WoW gloss of paint removed.

I've been trying to do something in Blender every day this month, which led to me making a chess set for my Soul Flame universe. And since Soul Flame's first roots were WoW fanfic, it was easy to slap a Pandaren coat of paint on some of the pieces. #blender #wow

Now that we've beaten the Lord of Dragovians, and granted the treasure of my father, it's time to prove myself worthy of my mother's blood. That's right, it's time for a few rounds of the Dragovian Trials!

Well, now that I made contact with the Dragovian people, it's time to see if we can't have a little chitchat with their Lord. And I don't think he's currently all to happy to see us humans...
