Sometimes it's fun to do a little gift art. This is for the character of the month on Ranebopets! This month's featured character is a orange icecream inspired draphibi named Sherbet. I included Pip my draphibi hatchling just for fun #art #ranebopets #draphibi

An illustration of two Draphibi, the character of the month is the large yellow draphibi named Sherbet. The small green and red Draphibi is named Pip and is a hatchling. Both Draphibi stand in a forest clearing lit by sun rays.

A fossa facing the viewer, drawn symmetrical so both sides of the canvas mirror one another. The entire image gives a psyedelic vibe with numerous lines rippling from the fossa in the center who is encased in blue, pink, purple, and white static. The lines rippling away from the fossa are a striped neon chaos of purple, neon green, yellow, and neon blue on a black background.

A playful moment of four semi-aquatic creatures called Bettabo and Draphibi (species created by Ranebopets) playing in a small pond. The largest is warm yellow with light blue fins and a two leaf sprout on his head, peeking over the edge of a lily pad to greet a small black and grey Draphibi with his tongue sticking out.

The pond’s surface is speckled with duckweeds, and surrounded by tall grass in a shaded forest area. Climbing onto the lily pad with the large yellow Bettabo is a small Draphibi that looks like a cinnamon roll who also has their tongue out in a mlem.

Not far beyond the main three figures is a small bright pink Draphibi swimming over to join the others, they too have their tongue sticking out in a mlem.

Done in the style of a stained glass window from the Medieval age, a black serpentine hound stands against geometric shapes in yellow, gold, and orange to represent a sky. Curling around the hound is a stylized red ribbon for symbolism, around the beast’s neck is a braided collar with silver coins and a silver clasp. His eyes are red and from his snarling mouth are large teeth.

Beneath that are shapes in shades of green to represent grassy hills. The entire illustration area is framed by dark brown line work to imitate the metal in stained glass windows.

Below the central image is a smaller rectangle of brown stained glass with the words “Nec Possum Tecum Vivere, Nec Sine Te.” in gold. This is Martial Latin, Epigrams XII, 46; the translating to “I can neither live with you, nor without you.”

$A void of black paper is interrupted by bright stars of white with blue, green, and purple nebulas glowing softly in the dark. The glowing shapes are partially blinked by solid black that forms a felid type body more closely to Panthera Leo with Emu-like feet. As the glow moves to outline the figure, the felid’s neck and shoulders break the surface of what could be water. Ripples and refracted light shapes create movement that further defines the shape cast between what could be surmised as sea and sky.$

Above can be seen a digital drawing of a small dark blue creature with a round body, 4 stubby little legs, 2 small ears and a bright pink tadpole like tail with a web like pattern on it.
It is smirking at the viewer with the words "Only Chaos" written next to it

From original post:
A pink silhouette in the water caught Void's attention, something.. someone was watching them. As they got closer the pink shape surfaced, it was another Draphibi!

Little did Void know that they had just met their best friend for life.
