Dreaming about my future
Dreaming about being loved
Dreaming about a job I like
Dreaming about my future family
Dreaming about life
Dreaming about my dream home

Just dreaming
Manifesting

My allowance turning into monthly salary

Dream: Dream Collection is about the start. “Dream” is a digital painting of an eye wondering about its own future life just like any young adult would. Everyone wants to live the life they’ve desired for themselves. Sometimes, It gets manifested early while others never had a chance to witness the bare minimum. I’ve used purples, blues and greens to create an illusion of dreams. Purple represents head on clouds, being imaginative side of me. Green represents growth, the maturity of having responsibilities. Finally, blue represents somber feeling, that it’s impossible to live in this conditions which brought us back to reality. A cycle sad enough to think but your dreams are kept on crushing.

Will devote to you
Will devote to my family
Will devote to my childhood
Will devote to nostalgia
Will devote to good memories
Will devote to be loved

Devotion, Sacrifice

I’ll missed everything so much that I felt like I’ve lost my spark.

Devote: The final peace of the Dream Collection. “Devote” is a digital painting of a eye alongside with other eyes watching it. The eye represents the person being unable to start anew. They don’t want to leave and DEVOTE their own lives to their loved ones rather than themselves. That shows us an average toxic cycle. We all devote to something. But when it became obsession, It hurt us alongside with people around us. Remember to always trust your gut feelings.

Desired to be perfect
Desired to be smart
Desired to be pretty
Desired to be a scapegoat
Desired to be number 1
Desired to fail

Desires…
Envy…

I’ve lost my mind while others tried to fix me.

The middle child of the Dream Collection. “Desire” is a digital painting of an individual who has a strict family that expects them to be perfect child. Desired child I shall say. A child who lost their childhood spark. A child who has been lied to. A child who was flawed beyond belief. So flawed that it put them in a depression. That child was me. When I was a young girl, my parent wanted the best in me. Best toys, best grades, best childhood. But they took it too far (especially my father) by guilt tripping me into believing that something was wrong with me. My elders didn’t like my imaginative and chaotic personality. They told me to mellow out. When I did, I fell into a deep depression that made me almost quitting life itself. Only cure was to get help and accept myself as who I really am. I’ve used pinks as a colour of femininity but I depict this colour as a pink lie. A façade if you will. There are dark blues, greens and purples that represent chaos. Constant fights happened behind closed doors and a small victory for that young girl who hadn’t given up on herself by healing.
