My observation so far is that I have a lil bit of a cheat because I found them through Kings of This World

So. Um. Weird timing. Not a Sandman fan (having read it once) but I got a good price and it has the full Jeffrey Catherine Jones Death story, most of Sandman #1 and all four issues of Craig Russel’s very nice Dreamhunters adaptation (one of my favourite works of his).
Definitely has a frisson tho

It was a bit weird. And she kept my original copy of Sandman: Dreamhunters, something I was never really able to replace...

Definitely. It’s about pirates, ghosts and time travel! It even got a sequel in 1997! It is also itself a sequel (sorta?) to a 1990 film called ‘Simon les Nuages’ (or ‘Simon and the Dreamhunters’).

When I moved around a fair bit I used to jokingly define "home is where my copy of Sandman: The Dreamhunters" is. And now I'm wondering if I can separate the Amano from the Gaiman to keep it running. I've been thinking of handing the main series off, but it *is* a big part of my goth journey?

My favorite part of the house has a customized graphic novel cover of Sandman carving out an album cover of mine. I have an unopened copy of The Dreamhunters. Now I can barely look at that stuff knowing what I know now about the creator…

Hoo boy that good? Do you like The Dreamhunters Duet?

I am wondering if like the magic in Dreamhunters was to me completely and utterly believable, if there is some I don't know explanation for the vampirism? But I am not hunting for spoilers just excited

I am reading The Dreamhunter Duet which is a 2 set young adults. Author Elizabeth Knox, set in the fictional Southland which is very much New Zealand but with magic. It's 1910 and the 2 protagonist girls are the daughters of the most famous dreamhunters of them all
