Some very sad news regarding Dream Dove's Calamity Trio Figures. Even though Anne was funded, due to the tariffs and uncertainty over them, unfortunately they will not be made. #Amphibia #CalamityTrio #CalamityCuties #AnneBoonchuy #SashaWaybright #MarcyWu #DreamDove #DreamDoveShop
Calamity Trio Update A final update for the Calamity Trio campaigns. To get straight to the point, I'm very sorry to say, but I am not able to go through with the Calamity Trio figures. Even though Anne dis reach the goal, since the campaign launched, the price of production has increased and on top of that, if any addition tariff or surprise fees get added later, I simply won't be able to pay for it. I tried as hard as I could to find a solution, but nothing worked out in a way that made sense. So my only optio. Is to cancel the figures, which is a bummer. It was a very ambitious project and I think I tried to go too big, too fast. That combined with continued bad timing, it seems these figures just weren't meant to be. One more time, thank you to everyone who shared, supported, and contributed to the campaigns in any way. I really appreciate your support, and I'm really sorry I wasn't able to bring these figures to life for you. As for refunds, it will take me a while, but throughout this week I will work on canceling and refunding all orders with any of the Calamity Trio figures. If you had other items in your order (keychains, pins, etc.), your order will not be completely canceled, but you will recieve partial refund just for the Calamity Trio figures. I will not be fulfilling these orders right away, so if you would like to cancel or change your order now that the Calamity figures are not being made, I completely understand, and please let me know by Sunday, May 4th. If I do not hear from you, your order will he fulfilled the week of May 5th So yeah, that's it! I hope you guys stick around for whatever comes next. I'm not 100% sure what that is yet, but I've got some ideS and I'm hoping to figure it out soon. The prototypes will live on my shelf and the figures will live on in our hearts. 💚💙💖

Dream Dove Update:

Bad News: Bc of tariffs, it'll be a long while for them to be shipped.

Good news: We're given more time to fund them.

Dream Dove: In light of recent events, we have to address the tariff situation. I am not immune to the devastating effects these tariffs are having on business who manufacture in China. My figures, like most/all figures and toys, are made in China. 1/5 Unfortunately, the reality of the situation is that the cost of making these figures is already so expensive, that if there are any large tariffs on China in place, let alone an insane amount like 125%, it will be impossible for me to import them. 2/5 Dream Dove: If the figures do go into production, they wouldn't ship until later in the year, so there is a chance that this blows over by then. But the situation is so volatile, it's impossible to know if tariffs will still be in place or what % those tariffs might be in several months 3/5 So we are left with two options: completely cancel the project now, or extend the campaigns for a bit and wait and see. Obviously, I'd rather not cancel the project, but at this point I am not super optimistic, and it might be the only option if things don't improve. 4/5 For now, I am going to extend the campaigns by two weeks. I will keep accepting pre-orders and will keep an eye on the tariff situation to see if anything changes. 5/5
