I spray-painted a thrifted chair last week and brought it to my office this morning.
In other news, I learned yesterday when the leaves were raked off our patio that leaf piles are NOT as effective as dropcloths. 🤣

4. Use lightblocking curtains to reduce the amount of heat coming in from sunlight. In lieu of these, canvas dropcloths and duct tape from a hardware store for under $20 will do instead.
5. Be sure to include electrolytes in your hydration plan to avoid hyponatremia from excessive sweat.

Lowe's heavy cotton dropcloths...get softer with each wash. Shrouded my king bed when Josie used to hop up to sleep with me.

He painted something on his balcony, paint dripped through because he’s apparently not familiar with dropcloths and it dried there. Then when he left the freshly painted thing outside in the rain, it got all over my patio.

The sets are hilarious: the stages are covered in what look like high school theater dropcloths stained with spraypaint and the walls are strung with all these brightly colored sheets. Very dorm-y.

I use different colors for different passes. Red gets used the most, and first printed copies end up looking like dropcloths from an abattoir.

Same, and everything that can't be fixed gets deconstructed. Clothes that are past even gardening get buttons removed then go in the rag bag. I salvaged all the toggles, guy ropes etc from a broken tent then cut it up as dropcloths. All random metal bits go in the metal recycling pile.

The poor baby! When our dog gets a stomach bug, we put down dropcloths at night. Otherwise we wake up every time we hear him move 😂

huh? the piss sprayer? oh i just use it to coat the house with a fine mist of piss between coats

Ooh thanks Kelsy! I went for dropcloths/tarps as the thought of trying to do anything else with that type of fabric was very daunting, but I will have a browse for ideas 😎
