Remember everywhere went for Kamala and Peggy. So you’re seeing degrees of support. The dropoff places are where the wealth that powers Frey & All of Mpls lives. I’m sure Gaza was in play — several Mpls dropoff precincts are next to the St. Louis Park precinct that voted Angie Craig in primary.

Last night at a party dropoff the parents were talking about favorite Halloween candy. Someone said "Sugar daddies" and I said "I like them too but for different reasons" and one mom CACKLED.

Vote no on 3, 5, and 8 and yes on the others. Plus it appears the ballot drop off boxes in Somerville have I voted stickers.

Why don't the anti-bike lane "but emergency vehicles!" folks ever care about the shitshow that is school dropoff blocking emergency vehicles? This morning, 6 parents left their vehicles in our alleys, blocking access there while the street was an impenetrable mass of cars.

That theory ignores precinct math. Heavy straight ticket blue wards don’t magically produce massive top of ticket undervotes while Casey runs normally. Low propensity dropoff explains rural red blips not isolated urban statistical anomalies that defy historical margins. The data doesn’t add up.

The dropoff in quality between 80s/90s U2 and everything they've released since 2001 should be studied academically.

I think he's referring to the fact that not everyone ranks everyone. Ideally someone who's confused between two candidates will just rank both, but in practice not everyone does. ("Dropoff" because it's like when runoff elections have a dropoff in turnout.)

As someone who has already voted by mail and had my ballot placed in the secure dropoff, I'm a little less nervous to attempt to smoke some cochinita pibil meats all day on Tuesday to make tacos!

May the tacos turn out as well as the results of the midterms...I hope...

I filled out my mail ballot and dropped it off at a designated dropoff location a week or so ago :3

I did change my outfit three times, but it made no difference, since my state is 100% mail-in or dropoff. Aaaargh!
please remember you can vote twice twice if you change outfits

We just hit noon ET and the current overall electorate in Florida is R+6.0

Republicans had better hope that either there is no dropoff in R vote rate (unlikely as rurals have prob mostly exhausted by now) or Dems/NPA also have a steep turnout drop in the afternoon (also unlikely as they're younger)

More than 160k Ohioans lost Obamacare coverage after Rs allowed Covid-era subsidies to expire — nearly 1/3 of the market & the biggest coverage dropoff of any state. 360k more are set to lose Medicaid. Sherrod Brown/Amy Action focused *heavily* on the issue in their campaigns, and won big tonight.
Democrats see political gain in Ohio’s health care pain
Surging costs and plummeting insurance coverage could give Ohio Democrats their best chance in years to win back power.
