@denisagar.bsky.social correctly points out that this format undercuts the role of transit.
For example, buses (purple) barely register on Dufferin here. So you wouldn’t know that as many people take the Dufferin bus as there are cars driving on Dufferin.
That’s how good transit is.

The bus lanes work (when not blocked). One Dufferin bus passing thru here would carry far more people than these vehicles.

one of the biggest complaints we fielded from some "local residents" about bus lanes on dufferin and bathurst is that they'd make those streets turn into...bus highways? that they'd be more unsafe?
