This week's Dylan and Friends!

Tori has a revelation about the dream!

#Comic #WebComic #IndieComic #DylanAndFriends #Art
A Dylan and Friends by Cherry Flavored Comics. A 6 panel comic. Panel 1: Dylan (as a pink cat) and Tori (as a blue bird) are standing in a field. Dylan looks a little nervous. Tori is scratching their chin and saying, “So, What was it you said you were doing again? Not fishing with your face or something?” Panel 2: Dylan awkwardly rubs her shoulder and says, “I know it sounds crazy… But I’m definitely certain that I’m dreaming right now… Last thing I remember was falling asleep with a fever… then I woke up as a cat…” Panel 3: Tori grabs Dylan’s face and says, “Wait! Did you say fever?” Dylan scrunches up her face and says, “Uh yes…?” Panel 4: Tori says, “Ah… So that explains it!” Panel 5: Dylan touches her cheek and asks, “Explains what?” She also quietly asks herself “How was their wing sweaty?” Panel 6: Tori is pointing toward the background. In the background is a mountain range and forest, in the mountains are 3 scary looking, gothic towers with buttresses and turrets. A path leads to the forest from the foreground. Tori says, “Those big, creepy towers that showed up right before you did!”

This week's Dylan and Friends!
This is the start of the next chapter: Dream Team

#Comic #WebComic #IndieComic #DylanAndFriends #Art
A Dylan and Friends comic by Cherry Flavored Comics Panel 1: Dylan is lying in bed, clutching a plush cat to her chest. She groans "unngh…", the speech bubble breaking apart into smaller bubbles. She doesn't look so good. Chris is standing beside the bed, looking at a thermometer in her hand. Chris says, "Yep… You have a fever alright…" Panel 2: A thinner panel than 1. Chris pulls the covers up to Dylan's shoulders, and Dylan rolls on to her side. Dylan's expression is exaggerated, her mouth is a squiggle and her eyes are half closed. Chris says, "The best thing for you to do right now is rest. I'll be at work, but Tristen is right upstairs." Panel 3: Chris kisses Dylan on the cheek. Dylan still has the same expression. Panel 4: A wider panel than 3. This panel establishes the environment in Dylan's bedroom, the carpet is pink, Dylan's dresser rests against the wall, her desk and computer is on the far wall near the window, the door is just around the corner. Chris is standing in the middle of the room, looking at Dylan in the foreground. Panel 5: This panel is long and thin. It's a close-up of Dylan in bed. She's groaning and her eyes are slowly closing. An audible click is heard as Chris leaves the room out of frame. Panel 6: Another long and thin panel, but it's thinner and shorter than the last. An even closer crop on Dylan's sleeping face. The last 3 panels are transitional, each getting smaller and thinner. The first is a gradient blur of the colors present in the previous panel, the second is grey, the final is black. Dylan has fallen asleep. The comic continued. The first three panels are the same as the last three on the previous page, just going the other direction, becoming more coherent. Panel 1: A close-up crop, like the panel showing Dylan sleeping on the previous page, showing a pink character, implied to be Dylan, sleeping in a grassy field. Panel 2: A long and thin panel showing the character more fully. It's Dylan, but she's a pink, anthropomorphic cat. She still has her fluffy, brown hair, but her body is completely pink, and she has cat ears and a cat's nose. She's waking up. Panel 3: A regular thin panel. Dylan is drooling as she wakes up. Panel 4: Dylan notices the grass beneath her, holding a clump of grass in her hand (paw?), with a thought bubble saying, "Grass…?" Panel 5: Dylan's tail swooshes into view from the right and Dylan notices it. Her pupils become small and her thought bubble says, "huh?" Panel 6: Dylan makes a high-pitched, "Eeep!" sound and quickly stands up. This gives us a clear view of what she looks like as a cat: pink fur, a long tail, cat ears poking out of her hair, and pads on her hands like cat paws. Panel 7: A wider panel. Dylan is on the left, looking down at her body and screaming. On the right is this chapter's logo. It reads, "Dylan and Friends in: Dream Team". "Dream Team" is written in big, bubbly letters, stylized with cat ears and a cat tail. My signature is in the bottom corner.
