O algoritmo de hash do python é simples: é o próprio valor da key. Se tem colisão, paciência, vai ser substituido.

E se não me falha a memória o DynamicArray começa com 8 de capacidade pq eles fizeram um estudo que 8 era um valor ok para a maioria dos dicts que eram criados.
