Glad to have been part of this new paper, showing how the gut microbiomes of people with a wide range of diseases shift from being dominated by competitive interactions between microbes to being dominated by cross-feeding interactions (1/2) www.science.org/doi/10.1126/...

Researchers reanalyzed microbiome data and built a metabolic model showing dysbiosis shifts the gut from competitive bacteria to cooperative cross feeding networks.

This rising cooperation may signal disease progression and offer an early warning marker.

-> Contact : philippe.charlier@uvsq.fr
