Anyway jokes aside, it's all fun and games making fun of the NIKKE backdoor but what if someone finds one in EAC, Vanguard or Battleye

Kinda lame that their stance over AI is such a lesser issue to the general public compared to EAC

if EAC for linux (v2) ends up being used for any games i actually care about, i can't wait to need to switch kernels in order to play and sacrifice hibernation (they require sign kernels, kernel lockdown, and secure boot, which i think is fair for an anticheat)
Awesome Gaming on Linux Without Cheating
EAC Linux v2 aims to close the protection gap with Windows, helping combat increasingly sophisticated cheats. Read the system requirements and what Linux distributions need to support here.

Question, What can EAC v2 actually do if a Linux install is locked down like that?
Like I mentioned in that post about its requirements, alot of those are used to harden security on Linux
Is it actually EAC v1 but checks those requirements and not invasive like EAC for Windows
Really confused

feeling vindicated in being a VRChat hater since they tried suing developers of Unity modding tools
adding EAC to a glorified chatroom and wiping out all the accessibility mods it had at the time was also pretty shit

Some people on Reddit think that VRChat might have some sort of AI investor.
Knowing how EAC went down, I think these unfounded suspicions have some merit.

誰說 Mac 不能玩 VRChat 的！😋
MacBook Air M5（16GB）

Pretty much the catastrophe of VRChat since the EAC update.
A few weeks ago, we asked the community to submit feedback on how they felt about AI in VRChat.

Seeing the community reaction to the VRChat situation, I really hope the team is able to learn from it. I don't think there's been this much of a vocal response since EAC, and that incident is the whole reason we even have regular dev updates and blog posts.
