I think it's not you but the environment here. I worry that it gets worse as good-faith people turn away. :( but that also isn't a reason to stay if it's harming you. Not a lot of easy answers on that front. I wish there was a better discursive ecology readily accessible.

It's easy to blame the students when faced with a listless, apathetic group. But it's worth considering whether your classroom culture promotes or dissuades participation. It's amazing how much good can come from being intentional about establishing rapport and mutual respect. (2/2)

The thing is, once youre out, you dont wanna be in, especially if befriending women is easy for you. If you dont need to befriend men, you simply dont and wont, why bother?
