LA senate is gonna get close. Davis down 93k with Orleans, EBR and Lafayette early vote outstanding. JBE in 2019 got 48k from those 3

Orleans, EBR (still counting), & Caddo ain't been put in yet 🤔
The blackest parishes aren’t even in yet!!
Double digit gap right now, but Louisiana‘s most prominent numbers freak says things are still looking good for Davis
November 4, 2026 at 3:06 AM
One note - Davis is ever so slightly underrunning JBE in Orleans and EBR. But early vote patterns have changed. Also, all 9 outstanding precincts are in Orleans and EBR.

Lafayette netted 1k for Letlow. JBE netted 57k from Orleans and EBR early vote and Davis needs 88k
November 4, 2026 at 4:45 AM
These are current results without any early votes from Orleans and EBR.

Essentially jamie needs to run the numbers up in OP and EBR to have a chance
November 4, 2026 at 4:06 AM
I think the votes are there in Orleans and EBR, and my god we have two run-offs!!

He's back!
November 4, 2026 at 3:38 AM
EBR early vote is in, Davis nets 20k votes which is not gonna be enough. Under 50k Orleans votes left and he's down 68k
November 4, 2026 at 5:06 AM
EBR still outstanding too
November 4, 2026 at 5:07 AM
8 points is much closer than it should have been for mikey, although with the amount of votes outstanding in EBR and NOLA I am feeling increasingly confident in my "Davis gets within at least 5" prediction
as a reminder bossier was trump+35 (also is literally where mike lives) and natchitoches was trump+22

If Jamie's about 10,000+ votes behind (& I don't think they've counted Orleans, JP, EBR, & Caddo parishes yet) it's gonna be a very interesting finish
November 4, 2026 at 2:44 AM
I’m 2nd that goes way way far up river past ebr.
November 4, 2026 at 2:29 AM
Come on! EBR

Former Congressman Ralph Abraham tells the Letlow election supporters that Letlow is waiting on East Baton Rouge Parish votes to come in before declaring victory.

The early vote in EBR is still out. #lalege #lagov

Concerned about #Bill140? We are too. Ontario Nature's Tony Morris spoke to The Pointer's @anushkayadav.bsky.social about the anti-democratic amendments to the EBR, removing requirements for ministries to explain how they consider the environment in their decisions.

I've been slowly turning R voters from EBR and LP.

Parish party shifts vs 2022
- Ds grew faster than Rs in 6 big parishes
- D lead nearly 4x in EBR; +12K in Orleans
- R leads in Ouachita and Ascension shrank ~2/3

I’m thinking of how Lafayette normally votes and it’s sort of hilarious to see it lumped in with EBR and Orleans.
November 3, 2026 at 3:09 PM
St. Tammany is starting to come in which will help Letlow, but EBR is also coming in at 65-35 margins for the Dems and Orleans is the most Democratic jurisdiction in the country. NOT SAYING the Dems will win Louisiana. But we see why the GOP was so concerned in the last weekend.
