Curiosity's cameras acquired these images on sol 926 and 629, March 15 &amp; 18, 2015, they take a closer look at one of the many exposed mineral veins. Upper left is a navigation camera image, upper right is a mast camera image (34mm), the lower images were processed from 9 remote micro images (RMI) which is part of the rover's chemistry camera (ChemCam), lower left is an extended depth of field (EDOF). Lower right is a red/cyan anaglyph processed from the EDOF image. The detail/depth in the RMI is reduced, maybe related to the physical depth of the target and possible exposure issues related to the high contrast across the target, this led to excessive pre-processing on the images before stacking and 3D processing, the end result is far from good, but the images still manage to tell a story...

15 Remote Micro Images (RMI) which forms part of the rovers Chemistry Camera (ChemCam) were used to make two stacked extended depth of field (EDOF) images, these were then stitched together. The images were acquired on sol 919 (March 08, 2015). This target is the edge of an overhang on the outcrop called Newspaper Rock and is located ~3 meters due north west of the rover.

Patientin mit den hochwertigen EDoF-Intraokularlinsen happy, da für die meisten nur noch reine Nahbrille für die kurze Leseentfernung nötig.
Wenn ich aktuell welche bräuchte, würde ich mir diese gönnen.

It's the same in the UK. When your eyesight has deteriorated you can get basic lens replacement in a reasonable time.

For about £3500 per eye you can have astigmatism corrected, and another £400 gets you PureSee EDoF - dashboard to distance. I'm typing this without reading glasses, manageable.

The base images for this collage were acquired by the ChemCam: Remote Micro-Imager (CHEMCAM RMI) onboard NASA's Mars rover Curiosity on Sol 938 (March 27 2015), These have been processed by stacking the base images into 2 sets of extended depth of field images, and then further processed into red/cyan anaglyphs, the sets wet then merged (stitched) to create the images in this collage.
