Today is World Prematurity Day, a day for awareness of those of us who were born early and had to spend our first moments of our lives fighting to survive. I'm thankful for the medical help I got, but it left me with chronic illness that's another reminder of it.

@dieterwolke.bsky.social spoke about the long-term development of individuals born very preterm at Miracle Babies Conference. Silke Mader also presented on the European Standards of Care for Newborn Health (EFCNI), emphasizing the importance of placing parents at the heart of neonatal care. #gfcni

While today we’ve highlighted the need for appropriate care for TAPS twins, we stand with EFCNI and their many partners in calling access to quality care, everywhere for all infants.
