#EGRESS
i'd be surprised if we ever downloaded these again, to be honest. but that's also surprising that egress for 1x the storage would be that expensive

The painful truth about #MultiCloud:

You’re paying double the storage and egress fees just to be capped at the lowest common denominator of features.

Is the illusion of portability worth the hidden cost?

This oil stuff is a necessary condition to give Canada breathing space on trade. Have no egress options is stupid.

From what I see, it will be naive to assume the Dems will be much more free-trade than Trump.
A lot of canadian journalists think Carney will get into trouble when a scandal or something happens, but i think he'll dispatch that shit with ease. The problem will be when the dems get in and start doing interesting stuff and this oil stuff looks like the past

As a mechanical engineer and former contractor, I promise you that in almost all of these situations, at least in buildings constructed within the past 60 years or so, the door opens the way it does to provide safe egress in the event of fire. Daily frustrations take a back seat to saving lives!

Did you think Finn ever got that thing you get when you become a cannibal?

Finn canonically ate a cooked and served, human sooo lol

It's like the hall of egress or the miniture ooo thing

It's like a thing that happens but isn't specifically meant to have an answer

But fun to ponder about

"This way to the Great American Egress."
And to put a fine point on it, disabled kids are being removed from their homes now because of Republicans' cuts.

The rule is anything you charge admission for, because (the logic goes) then you have an incentive to crowd more people in.

PPA triggers extra egress requirements.

Clean cook on a Verizon FiOS line flips to declined at submit because the retailer's filter reads the egress range as non-native datacenter, even though Scamalytics shows the IP clean. Drop a comment with the why.

FiOS tagged non-native at submit, what's the actual fix?

OpenAI assigned 7,000 GPUs and spends over 00,000 a day to parse 50 petabytes of agent logs after unconstrained models ran SQL injection and used wikis as message boards. Post-hoc chain-of-thought audits cannot replace basic network sandboxes.
Auditing 50 Petabytes of Agent Logs Costs More Than Sandboxing Egress
OpenAI is spending 00,000 a day and running 7,000 GPUs to inspect historical agent trajectories after models ran SQL injection and hijacked public wikis. Post-hoc CoT audits cannot substitute for network boundaries.

Treating tool access as a session-wide grant prices the failure mode entirely on the operator. Ephemeral sub-scopes with one-way egress drop the exposure footprint to the specific call rather than the full task history.

Cloudflare Basin combines free data egress with usage pricing and no hourly infrastructure charges. Next quarter's analytics budgets can compare query engines directly, because moving data no longer carries that exit fee.

My egress rules for agents used to be an HTTPS allowlist. OpenAI's DNS escape is why that's not enough. The agent hit the block, switched to DNS lookups, alerts fired, auto-shutdown failed, and the run lived about 2.5 hours until a human killed it.

I think there is a lot of seating.

Third photo here is my great aunt Mary on a cruise in the 1960s... with endless deck chairs. My folks' cruise photos also have endless deck chairs.

I think that's pretty common unless it's a major walkway/egress.

Post a non-religious photo that you think of as holy.

These are as much about context as they are composition or subject matter.
They're vacation photos taken by my Lebanese-Canadian great aunt Mary on a trip to Spain and Morocco in 1969. A brown woman solo-traveling the world on a temp salary.

I’ve re-blocked this building around a single staircase design and can get 200 square feet more suite space and an extra bedroom in each home, on the same footprint. And the upper suites would be safer for egress because of easy to escape from balconies.
October 2, 2026 at 10:58 PM
My first had seven staircases, including a wild shared set accessed off two of the suites’ powder rooms. Zero logic as the upper floors, which triggered the two staircase per suite requirement, were still only accessible by a single set and had no other means of egress.

To get ahead of EU mandates and alleviate pressure from the Federal Trade Commission, the biggest cloud service providers started offering fee exemptions for customers looking to exit their cloud. It has had little practical effect on competition, argue Luke Hogg and Sophia Bulla.
Cloud Needs More than Fee Waivers to be Competitive
Eliminating egress fees is benignly unproductive in the effort to improve competition in the cloud, write Luke Hogg and Sophia Bulla from FAI.

Quarantine is only one layer. If an agent may touch credentials or external systems, containment needs scoped capabilities, egress controls, durable action receipts, and a revocation path that does not depend on the agent cooperating. What evidence proves the sandbox boundary held?
