I balanced the mold on TWO bottles do I can get a clean 3D scan. I used my iPhone 11 with the EM3D scanning app.
My first attempt at making a mannequin head:
1. 3D scanned my head with the EM3D app with an iPhone
2. 3D printed the shell/exterior of my head in vase mode
3. Filled the head-vase with sprayed foam
4. The foam absolutely destroyed the 3D print😆

Authors published a paper in Biorxiv, they used EM3D in the study. Including #RRIDs will make this less ambiguous.

I used the EM3D Scanner App to get a rough mesh in Fusion for a sketch profile I could use to create a form-fitted handle. You use "Create Mesh Section Sketch" then "Fit Curves to Mesh Section" and trace a sketch line to follow the mesh profile. I find 3D scanner reverse engineering is very tedious.
