Luckily this means some quality sightseeing, such as spotting this upgraded EN57 Toilet Train running on one of the most curious Polish railway connections - the 6h PolRegio train from Warsaw to Poznań. A very ... acquired taste trip, that one.

These trainsets were (or still are) nicknamed #kibel (for loo 🚽…) by Polish railfans. The refurbished units of the class are dubbed #turbokibel.

Koleje Śląskie... in WARSAW? One of the KŚ 14WE units paid a visit to the capital today, and I captured it running empty through Warszawa Centralna.
These heavy EN57 rebuilds actually used to operate here and indeed the Warsaw SKM logo was still visible all over the interior. 😁

The changing face of the SKM Trójmiasto... once upon a time, this commuter network was operated almost exclusively by classic EN57 units. But now, most trains are formed of modern Newag Impuls trains in a boring white livery.
Though I do have to say, the interior design is very relaxing! 🥰
