🚀 Today, European teams conduct the 500th simulation for @esa.int International Space Station operations.

More than 260 flight controllers have been certified to date. This simulation helps prepare future flight controllers to support astronauts and science aboard the Space Station.

All aboard for asteroid Apophis!

ESA's Ramses mission aims to rendezvous with the asteroid Apophis as it passes Earth in 2029. Ramses will deploy a CubeSat led by Spanish company Emxys just a few kilometres from the surface of the asteroid to study it up close.

It's 1500 days until the asteroid Apophis makes a close but entirely safe flyby of Earth on 13 April 2029! ESA's proposed Ramses mission would rendezvous with Apophis and study how it changes during the flyby. The mission's first CubeSat has been selected. 🪨🛰️
