I teach ESL at the high school level, and we encourage our students to consider careers in that field. I know it’s not easy. Language barriers, cultural differences, it’s not easy, but it can be life-saving work.

Excellent. I teach ESL (and speak decent Spanish), and many of my students are Spanish speakers, so, they'll be tickled when I say this.

I love how people invent new relationship categories to avoid any emotional labour or care they feel they don’t owe to others. Now I see multiple people looking for “meaningful casual” relationships
