Rabbinical Judaism, which is what we just call Judaism today, was the outcome of the Pharisees who were the early rabbis. As opposed to the Saducees, who were the priests, the Zealots who were the zealots, & the Essenes, who were a hermetic offshoot of the Saducees. 2/

This. The majority of human history is rife with examples of stateless societies - Essenes, Taborites, Cospaia, Icelandic Commonwealth, Hopi, Ibibio, and on and on. But there is some intellectual dishonesty one encounters when providing examples - too remote, too primitive, too small scale etc. 1/
