In Österreich ist der Anteil der Wohnkosten am Haushaltseinkommen seit 2023 gestiegen. Das zeigt die aktuelle EU-SILC-Studie, die Lebensbedingungen in der EU erfasst. Auch der Anteil der Personen, die mit ihren Mietzahlungen im Rückstand sind, war 2024 höher als 2023. 1/2

Jetzt gilt EU-SILC als alleinige Grundlage. Andere Stichprobe, anderes Befragungsdesign, kleinere Datenbasis. Ergebnis für dasselbe Jahr 2022: 14,4 % – 11,9 Millionen Menschen. Jedes siebte Kind. Alleinerziehende: 24 %. Gleiche Realität. Andere Zahl.

plus: der EU-SILC-report ist ein etabliertes und wichtiges instrument. das ist keine "erfindung" von armut, sondern methodik. wenn man's natürlich nicht anerkennen will, hilft jegliche wissenschaftliche methodik nix.

There are serious concerns about the data validity of the income measurement of the EU-SILC in Hungary after 2017. The numbers reek of manipulation to make the Orban government appear better at fighting poverty than it actually is. This is serious, as it undermines trust in the whole data set.

Arbeitslose sind am stärksten von Armutsgefährdung betroffen. Das zeigen die EU-SILC Zahlen am #TagderArbeitslosen. Fast die Hälfte der Erwerbsarbeitslosen ist armutsgefährdet und die Armutsgefährdung ist im Vergleich zu 2024 für viele vulnerable Gruppen deutlich angestiegen.
#Erwerbsarbeitslose weisen mit 45 Prozent die höchste Armutsgefährdungsquote auf, gefolgt von #Alleinerziehenden (41 Prozent), Nicht-Österreicher:innen (38 Prozent), Mehrkindhaushalten (35 Prozent), Mietenden (30 Prozent), Kindern (23 Prozent) und alleinlebenden Pensionistinnen (27 Prozent). 6/

Suomen terveydenhuollon heikentynyt saatavuus on noussut uutisiin tuoreiden EU-SILC-kyselytulosten perusteella.
Uutisoinnissa ei ole kuitenkaan raportoitu keskeistä syytä, joka löytyy myös kyselytuloksista: hoitojonot.
