Today is the feast of Richard of Chichester, d. 1253. We'll mark his day with an #earlyprintedbook for a change! This is Capgrave's Nova legenda Angliae, printed by Wynkyn de Worde in 1516: the opening of the Life on fol. 269v and detail of the same, + Wynkyn's device on the verso of the last leaf.
