Members said Eastham's Open Space and Recreation Plan is currently listed as "in progress" and agreed that two members will retrieve prior drafts, work with staff and the Cape Cod Commission, and lead efforts to complete the OSRP so the town remains eligible for related grants.

A Cape Cod Commission update shared with Eastham’s Open Space Committee highlights a regional open‑space overview and includes Eastham‑specific items such as wastewater funding and climate‑action context; the commission will continue town‑level briefings.

Committee members reported discussions with the Cape Cod Commission, which offered GIS mapping, stakeholder outreach, and other technical support for a regional Open Space and Recreation Plan; a draft regional plan is expected late this year or early next year.
