I was “schooled” by a techbro coworker that cattle farming causes more environmental harm than data centers, so if I *really* cared, I’d #eatlessbeef. It *all* sucks, so serious case of #whataboutism. Ofc, his argument was run through #AI to state the case. No longer coworkers btw. SMDH

Trees are allies in the fight against climate change.

To help save our tropical forests:
(A) cut down on beef, and (B) don’t eat products containing palm oil.

Please share my blog and talk to others about this.

Tfw members of your tech #coop are so far up the ass of #AI, and excusing the hell of #datacenters you have to resign. And when fam & members push back, they run your pushback through ChatGPT (which ofc wants to protect itself), spitting out that the cattle industry uses more water. So, #eatlessbeef

The increase in sargassum is due to our rapidly heating world caused by our massive increase in burning of #FossilFuels. This increase is a sign of worse things to come if we don’t change our behavior. #ClimateCrisis

We must REDUCE GHG EMISSIONS. #DriveLESS #FlyLESS #EatLESSbeef
More sargassum, a kind of floating brown algae, is washing up on the beaches of south Florida, west Africa, the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. In July, 9,000 tons of seaweed were removed from Miami-Dade beaches, more than ever removed in a single month before. www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026...

Climate crisis impacts us in many different ways. We need to reduce our FF emissions.

We must change our lifestyle or it will abruptly - and terrifyingly- be changed for us. #FlyLESS #DriveLESS #TravelLESS #EatLessBeef

“We should be conserving the energy resources we have left and using them to transition to the inevitable low-energy world that comes next for those of us that may survive our many predicaments.”

👆This. We can do this. #FlyLESS #EatLESSBeef #BuyLESSStuff
