Gives us something to wrap the Edstone in eventually, when we find it

Wrap the EdStone in it

“I call it Kemistry” makes the EdStone look like the Colossus of Rhodes

She got her own Edstone
October 3, 2026 at 11:46 PM
This gonna make the EdStone look like Nelson’s Column.
October 3, 2026 at 8:42 AM
The EdStone was, at 8 1/2 feet, 10 times less cringe than this.
October 5, 2026 at 1:02 PM
Can I just say that with this they have abandoned any right they may have had to make fun of us for the Edstone.

Rebuild the Edstone!
October 3, 2026 at 10:12 AM
This is genuinely the weirdest thing I have ever seen a British political party do.

It belongs in pride of place in a museum of the politically peculiar with the EdStone, Ed Davey's paddle board and Boris Johnson's zipline.
Ok look the Conservatives might be third in the polls and all that so you might think they have other priorities but fully support diverting all the HQ’s resources in whatever this is.

This… and the Edstone. Vital relics to baffle our successors.
Ok I have my take: this is folk art. This Bayeux Tapestry-inspired kind of Fallout-looking flat icon of Kemi Badenoch is in itself an expression of the current moment of Englishness and the V&A's rapid response collection should buy it.
Honestly guys isn’t this a bit weird? This is a bit weird

The Tory Tapestry is going to end up with the EdStone isn’t it.
October 3, 2026 at 5:01 PM
The Kemiaux Tapestry will go the way of the Edstone
October 3, 2026 at 10:47 AM
EdStone 2: This time the idea is just as bad but we can make it 30 meters long cheaply because we used AI art’?
The Conservatives have commissioned an 88 foot contemporary Badenoch Tapestry for their party conference
October 3, 2026 at 1:41 PM
I feel the Bayenoch Tapestry could become a political symbol of a type with the now lost Edstone, and should be preserved on that basis.

The Edstone remembers

I remember the Edstone

Until it's carved in stone, it isn't happening
September 30, 2026 at 5:48 PM
carving "the rocks will melt with the sun before I allow tuition fees to be imposed on England's students" into the back of the Edstone
September 30, 2026 at 8:13 AM
It is getting to the point where I can no longer use the EdStone as an example of the material authority of the text.
September 21, 2026 at 11:27 AM
The Edstone made it through 10 meetings without getting canned
