A wave frozen at the edge of becoming.
Power, restraint, inevitability.

Silent Surge captures the moment just before impact—the breath held between calm and chaos. Rising from an endless black void, the wave is both violent and meditative, its intricate blues and whites coiling inward like a living force aware of its own power. The absence of a horizon or shore removes scale and certainty, turning the ocean into a symbol of internal pressure: emotions contained, memories swelling, energy waiting to break. Inspired by traditional Japanese wave forms yet stripped to a stark, contemporary minimalism, the piece speaks of inevitability, restraint, and the quiet terror of what cannot be stopped—only endured. Crossing it is always a risk. 🌊
But it is the only way forward.
Away from comfort. Into becoming.
