One major flaming hoop to jump through as reviewer are the perceived 581,432.87 different versions of EditorialManager logins we all accumulate due to random invites, changed email addresses, etc. over the years.

I'm sorry, but if it takes me more than 30 min to log in to have the honor of reviewing a paper for your journal, I probably won't get around to finishing it. I don't understand why you make me jump through so many hoops to do work for free for you

Every time I have to log into EditorialManager and reset my password and guess 7 times at the username/email makes me never want to review anything ever again. Surely there's a better way - please, please, let someone come up with a better way.

We removed all admin support for editors
We dropped copy-editing entirely
We moved from EditorialManager (with its baggage for how papers are to be submitted) to non-profit Janeway

Yes … this is really painful … editorialmanager is just horrible … the new SNAPP by Springer Nature is a bit better but still not 100%

Please consider serving as a job reviewer for HP OfficeJet 3550. You can sign up using EditorialManager, because even office printers have chosen to use this software for some reason.

Continuing the rant against the "editorialmanager" system used by Elsevier. You have to respect that it would be difficult to come up with a *worse* user interface than this one. The only truly worse pieces of software out there are the electronic health records systems used in our hospitals.
