I mean, I'm deeply frustrated at her efforts to make CBS News editorially shitty, so there is that
Sources: Bari Weiss has privately been deeply frustrated by the negative reaction to her CBS tenure and has blamed subordinates for not stanching the criticism (New York Times)

LMAO everyone saying NPR was clearly editorially both-sidesing shit vindicated af today
At NPR... "I and a couple of other editorial leaders were encouraged to make sure that any coverage of a Trump lie was matched with a story about a lie from Hillary Clinton. Another colleague asked what to do if one candidate just lied more than the other."

You know it’s serious when even Canada stops being polite and starts being editorially correct.
That headline? A+ savageness in Helvetica.

Dear Politico,

It is editorially acceptable to state fact as fact.

"The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, whose policy on the use of the term 'terrorism' drew Mr. Patel’s ire, is editorially independent from the Canadian government."

Sorry but I think editorially you should name the 21 year old senior advisor in charge of the government’s personnel office.

This is the Stars & Stripes model and it's why Stripes has always been a great paper for straight news: Government funded, editorially independent
It’s beyond obvious at this point that news organizations cannot be privately funded. They need to be a public good, but entirely independent of government influence if we want a real system of checks and balances

Gibb said he never interfered editorially in the Jewish Chronicle

Hmm - seems like accuracy is not one of his strong points

And isn’t there some kind of sanction for misleading parliament?
Gibb; “ I had no editorial role whatsoever at the Jewish Chronicle”. Lee Harpin, reporter at the paper; “RG made a habit of calling into the office on print days to check up on what stories were topping the news list, and offering a view’”

New: in internal memo we obtained, the military says it will 'continuously' monitor bathrooms to comply with the anti-trans order. Also ordered a stop on "questionable content" at Stars and Stripes, the military's editorially independent newspaper.

Maybe Gen Z will editorially be allowed to grow up while millennials will forever be perceived as the youth as we enter middle age.

God it's hard to be editorially inclined these days.

"Biceps is the singular form!"
"This ebook's formatting is inadequate, dammit!"
"It's BESTIALITY for God's sake!"

Editorially, AI slop in open calls has made it functionally impossible to hold open calls anymore, which absolutely sucks for new and emerging writers trying to break into the industry.

A sentence in a piece I'm editing included the phrase "According to MAGA luminary Catturd," and as I realized I had no editorially valid reason to change that description it dawned on me that we are living in the dumbest era of all time.

He’s not supposed to ask for anything editorially! That’s the thing! It doesn’t even matter whether his idea or their idea was better! You shouldn’t tell the paper you own what editorials to publish! I’m sorry for yelling!

That story is to the left in the screencap! Quite a time capsule of where the Boston Globe is editorially.

I had to read this
editorially challenged article through a colander.

@zackpolanski.bsky.social
These days many British Jews see Zack Polanski as a traitor to his origins, not a disciple of Jewish ideas. Our profile explores how he has embraced the anti-Israel fervour that has swept the new left
Can Zack Polanski do a Mamdani?

my big idea is that there should be a national circulation editorially independent labor newspaper underwritten by labor.
UNIONS:
FOR THE LOVE OF CHRIST, SUPPORT LABOR NEWSPAPERS.

Please hand Labor World (@catconlan.bsky.social) Labor Beacon (@tah.bsky.social@laborworld.bsky.social) the Labor Tribune etc. etc. loads of cash.
