I don't think it was scary & unfamiliar music, but having someone critically engage with the cultural context, the semiotics of film & music, the sheer #EducateInformEntertain that seemed to scare off the kids who now run the station. A dereliction of #PublicServiceBroadcasting #SoundOfCinema

As intelligent, interesting, amusing, serious, passionate and knowledgeable about its subject and beyond, as you'd expect. Can't see Radio 3 topping that. But I fear those who run it don't especially want to. #EducateInformEntertain
