Spring controller you already know. service.placeOrder(...) returns a Free<F, A> — a pure description of the workflow (inventory, order, notify). boundary.runIO(...) hands it to the existing IOPathReturnValueHandler. Swap the boundary's interpreter and the same controller runs against Id for pure, millisecond tests.
