The right claims Abdul El-Sayed's past comments constitute evidence of him being a “terrorist” and “radical Islamist” or a “jihadist sympathizer” who is “infiltrating from within”. It has also targeted El-Sayed’s family.

(Note Cain desperately trying to pivot the conversation back to immigration, but El-Sayed doesn't let it go)

“You’d think reporters would now ask Vance for his thoughts about Trump’s attacks on El-Sayed’s spouse, given his fury over El-Sayed’s highlighting of Usha. And Trump is hardly alone: El-Sayed and his family have faced a huge wave of anti-Muslim bigotry from MAGA.”
JD Vance can rage at Abdul El-Sayed for invoking Usha all he wants, but AES's larger point is 100% correct: JD really has made craven compromises with vicious MAGA racists. For JD to submerge all that to his personal ambition really is disgraceful.

Vance is posing as a chivalrous defender of his wife. What he’s hiding is the craven compromises he’s made with the racist and white nationalist elements within the MAGA coalition.

Yep. Keep hammering the contradiction between JD Vance's pretend outrage over El-Sayed's invocations of Usha on one side, and Trump tweeting pictures of El-Sayed's wife in a hijab on the other. Make the press ask JD Vance to explain the contradiction (incredibly he still hasn't been pushed on this).
If there’s some big political price to pay for highlighting MAGA’s gutter bigotry and bad faith, and Vance’s cravenness in selling out his own family, it’s not showing up in the polls. I’d keep it up until the contradictions become too glaring for anyone to ignore. newrepublic.com/article/2149...

Nearly every one of El-Sayed's issue positions is supported by a majority. In fact, his stands are the center of American politics today. Saying he is far left/left wing is just so old. The center of American politics has moved over the last 30 years, and El-Sayed's position are center now.
