Working on a simple street map of the City of Elantra from @msagara.bsky.social Chronicles of Elantra book series. Drawn in Procreate but still very much a work-in-progress, but it’s slowly and painfully getting there on an iPad in my spare time. #ChroniclesOfElantra #FanArt #ElantraMap #Fanart
WORK IN PROGRESS! A flat, engraving-style street map of the City of Elantra on pale parchment, shown from above like a historical city plan. A soft blue river curves through the city and opens into the sea at the top, with several dark bridges linking the districts on both sides. The centre is labelled Ravellon, ringed by dense neighbourhoods including Nightshade, Tiamaris, Candallar (Bellusdeo), Durant, Farlonne, and Liatt. Other marked locations include the Imperial Palace in the lower left, on the right is the Leontine Quarter, the Halls of Law and Foundling Hall. In the top right is the Tha’alani Quarter in a walled enclosure, the Port near the coast, and the High Halls to the west. Streets are tightly packed and irregular, with no 3D buildings, giving it the feel of a detailed fantasy street atlas. This is an Unofficial, non-commercial fan art version of this map. All errors and interpretations are my own. Note: This map references Mathi Demers’ City of Elantra map linked on Michelle Sagara’s website, which is in colour and has some 3d elements, so please check it out. My map follows the river and bridge placement and basic location of key sites of the original map however it much simpler in presentation in a flatter street-map format.
