Day 8: Favorite Hub/ overworld theme.

Day 8) Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak - Basking in Eternal Breeze
Wow this song came at such a weird time in my life but I would literally just let it play with my headphones in on repeat. Such good music from the Monster Hunter series!!! 🥺

MH Rise was the first MH game I played and when I reached Sunbreak, all the time I spent at Elgado Outpost, brings this warm sense of familiarity every time I hear it

Day 6- favourite town
Genuinely was stuck thinking about this to the point that it's now 1am for day 7. Fuck.
I'd have to say Port Elgado; specifically pre-daybreak, because the instrumentation is a lot softer and calmer

This episode contains what would be the finale of the Elgado story arc with the Bonus Update monster, Primordial Malzeno. Definitely a Top 10 of mine for favorite fights & monsters. Such a beautiful design.

Well-rounded in every possible aspect. The best combat in the series, excellent roster, a shockingly good story with a great cast, a strong endgame grind, and a final fight that takes full advantage of Rise's unique mechanics
And the entire vibe surrounding Elgado Outpost is just immaculate

Though not a very large hub, Elgado is scenically very beautiful. I only wish its skybox was more dynamic and that there was a night cycle. As for its NPCs, absolutely wonderful (aside from the Hell Hunters, lol). It’s very fun seeing their individual stories play out, especially Supy’s.

Sunbreak is here! Join me in returning to Elgado to rediscover the mystery affliction impacting the Kingdom Monsters. Also, as of this posting, there are currently ~50 episodes of this portion, all scheduled to release daily through mid-late September.

Wonder if we’ll ever see the characters from Kamura & Elgado in a future MH title, like we’ve seen those from MH4 in Wilds. They’ve grown on me again in this second playthrough, & it’d be nice to see them again.
Enjoy a new episode of the #MHRise #ReturnToRise Series!

because monsters fr scare them, their folks are survivors of a rampage full of them killing ppl LMAO can u blame em. the masks pop off in elgado tho... maybe it's the foreign appeal or that they've never rly seen chokoku like his before so it's cool to them

i'm going insane because like. people in kamura just weren't into his wooden masks but as soon as they were brought to elgado they popped off. it's a matter of expanding his clientelle to like places not used to seeing them

i think that elgado must have the finest black teas and it would be so fun going from green tea/buckwheat tea around yukumo/kamura to something different

in Volume 6, Master Utsushi steals Yomogi's dango mortar and pestle to try and paddle it across (body of water) to follow the Hunter to Elgado... he mentions the sailing route being closed off (due to i think the Hermitaur from the first sunbreak urgent quest) so he couldn't use a boat
