時間ができたのでOpenAI APIを使った電子書籍のベクトルDB化を試してみた。ライブラリはembedchainを使用。以下所感
・実験コード自体は超簡単。数行で書ける。ローカルPCに特別なスペックは不要
・Ada v2使うと1ページ約0.014円なので、ベクトル化するのに400ページの本で約5円かかる
・処理時間は1冊約20秒
・質問クエリは50秒とかかかることもあり遅い
・日本語縦書きとかだとガンガンエラー吐いて読み込むの厳しい
・検索結果の質としては、「ちょっとしたあいまい検索をちょっと要約してくれる」程度。過度な期待は禁物

Embedchain with o4-mini. Error around max_token
Hi guys, has anyone tried to call o4-mini API with embedchain? I have been trying to do that but keep getting some strange error messages.
This is the error messages I am getting:
> Blockquote BadRequestError: Error code: 400 - {‘error’: {‘message’: “Unsupported parameter: ‘max_tokens’ is not supported with this model. Use ‘max_completion_tokens’ instead.”, ‘type’: ‘invalid_request_error’, ‘param’: ‘max_tokens’, ‘code’: ‘unsupported_parameter’}}
And this is the config.yaml (part of it) I am using
> Blockquotellm:
> provider: openai
> config:
> model: ‘o4-mini’
As you can see, there is no max_tokens in my config.
Has anyone faced similar issue? Or know where I have gone wrong?
