I honestly don't want to hear about Haley Stevens' mitigating circumstances, whether it's her horrible partner or her alleged mental health. Stevens is losing credibility, public favor, and professional standing bc her actions could harm millions of people. Empowering MAGA enables mass murder.

people who oppose trans rights are fascists, regardless of which letter is in parentheses after their name on the c-span chyron. if you vote for an anti-trans democrat you are empowering a fascist
The only message that not voting sends is that you're naive.

If you actually want to support a cause effectively, you do it in a primary where a small number of people together can make a big difference.

Empowering fascists because you're mad that a nonfascist did something bad is foolishness.
I am furious at the Dems who have accepted & repeated anti-trans talking points. And I would vote for any one of them on Tuesday without a second thought.

If you're trans & can't bring yourself to cast a vote for them, I'm not arguing with you.

But in general elections, I vote for who's better -

Unlike their anti-trans coverage, where they try to avoid taking credit for the consequences of their coverage, the NYT sure seems eager to take credit for empowering this lawlessness.

AI and crypto are truly empowering change agents
The Binance hack is so gargantuan that it about doubled the previous sum of all known crypto thefts linked to North Korea. It's an absolute boon for Kim Jong Un's nuclear and ballistic missile weapons program. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/30/t...
Binance’s $6.3 Billion Hack Is Just the Start of a Risky New Era
The largest cyber heist in history came as attackers increasingly use artificial intelligence and other advanced techniques to steal crypto and quickly launder the funds.

"Empowering fascists because you're mad that a nonfascist did something [fascistic] is foolishness."

Be honest with your words.

Anyway, you're wrong.

if you need a little empowering jingle to match the righteous anger in your stride today, this will do it, link to audio:
This is the song I've been singing all year, shouting all year, wanting to stand outside detention centers with a pitchfork and put on blast all year.

I was raised to love my neighbor.

Establishment Democrat: “We are telling you that you have to vote for the Democrat who is openly supporting the fascist position and framing on trans rights.”

Also Establishment Democrats, in the next breath: “Empowering fascists is bad and you shouldn’t do it.”

imagine telling a Black person they have to vote for a segregationist because they are running on a Democratic ticket.

that they're naive if they don't.

imagine telling a Jewish person they have to vote for a nazi. that they're empowering other nazis if they don't.

not voting for the fascist is actually empowering the non-fascist by your own argument

Here’s a free PDF of the article in case anyone else would find it helpful.

We developed a framework to think about responses to sexual assault disclosures that are helpful (i.e., empowering) or hurtful (i.e., controlling, minimizing, gatekeeping) for survivors.

Democrats are actively empowering fascists by running GOP talking points on immigration and trans people.

The people you want us to shut up and vote for are empowering the fascists.

Maybe if Democrats actually fought for anything other than getting elected we wouldn't be here right now.
