Puedes meter mano si quieres porque es la versión PC pero casi todos los juegos (y sobre todo los nuevos) arrancan ya optimizados para el sistema. Hay juegos que hasta tienen una opción de gráficos "steam deck" XD Los viejos dan + problemas a veces. Y encima puedes ponerle emudeck y emular consolas.

If you have a Steamdeck, do yourself a favor and set up EmuDeck so you can play PS, Xbox, GameCube, Wii, etc. games in your library. Also do yourself a favor and avoid my mistake: go larger than a 128gb microSD, you're gonna want more room than that for games.

Install EMUDECK. it basically handles everything for you in one click. Downloads all the emulators and creates folders for each console. You need to source your own BIOS for stuff like PS1/PS2/Dreamcast etc. But it's all super straight forward. Then you can even give it a front end like ES-DE.

two reasons of not being able to download steam rom manager on emudeck (i keep getting a pop up that it can't install?) + i keep getting the "Error during trophy registration! The game will now be terminated" message, which boots me out of the game ://

Installed emudeck on my new computer and it gave me the option to install an Xbox emulator.

But, unlike the Samsung smart TV it's connected to, it does not spy on me - the TV itself had a factory reset and was not connected to WiFi again after.

Yup. I know someone who moved to Windows after his controllers stopped working on EmuDeck + Steam ROM Manager when they moved to CachyOS. He wanted to move there after using Bazzite and SteamOS, since it wasn't immutable.

my biggest issue w/ emulator management programs like emudeck/retrodeck is how many of them override default emulator settings for things like internal resolution without having a convenient way of changing them

Aún así, yo tengo separado los emuladores en la SD, tengo una puesta en la Steamdeck dedicada únicamente a emudeck y todo lo relacionado. Así no lleno de basura la consola y lo mantengo separado

trying to play xevious on a 3.5 inch screen is slightly inhumane but on my tv with emudeck it'll have so much room to run, it'll be so happy
