Duke (our Malinois) monitored the grading progress this morning from the breakfast nook.
Which was previously Maya's space, but we had to move our Border Collie to the other room so we could convert the dining room.
So, same brindle doggo, same table, new background!

Today in #EnberFam Adventures, we discovered our dogs are VERY much creatures of habit.
Duke was hesitant to try the side door on his new crate; he'd never had a 2-door!
We moved Maya's into a new room and "go crate" sent her, verr confuze, to the old spot. Even though she watched us move it XD

As an #EnberFam update, I'll leave the drama the half-in-laws are pulling because I ain't venting that online. But we are handling chaos here in remodeling the house for my FIL to move in. The second stroke disabled him, and we're going to care for him so that he's with family, not strangers.

Ryu caught it & has been out for a week. I got it despite having the vax but not as bad. It's literally deadly in our area, & lasting longer than usual.

The "good news" for my health issues (close to a diagnosis & fix) hasn't come in time.
The mortgage company is filing forclosure paperwork on us, and will not accept any partial payments since our income is less than expenses.
We lose the house and become homeless within 2 months. 🫠

He's borrowing a set of fox ears, & we made a yarn tail for the horse. My cat ears are ridiculously tall, to my taste, so he looked like a gnawed-on cabbit instead of the cat that the Little Old Lady swallowed with them.

Rendering the chicken broth from the two roasters & separating out the safe meat for the doggos took a while.
I'm still condensing the broth down to stock, & I'm baking biscuits from the chicken mash I strained out.
The bones CRUMBLED. Had to be extra thorough getting em out.
