Most TTRPGs are basically resource management games and should lean further into that. Tracking rations, ammunition, encumbrance etc can be a fun and interesting part of the experience if you let it (and if the mechanics are interesting) and players do themselves a disservice by handwaving them.

There’s also the golden trove beetles you’ll see on trees (they glow in the dark!) that raise you/your main pawns encumbrance slightly. And one of the Warrior augments called Thew will increase that limit as well.

Encumbrance is a core part of the loop for better or worse. Bigger/Taller characters can carry more weight though, so hiring/making a big tall pawn to act as a packmule is pretty common. Upgrading will pull materials from storage, so feel free to dump those to storage.

Ok now that I’ve got the encumbrance system whining out of the way, I was really pleasantly surprised to see that the Dragon’s Dogma 2 character creator allows you to make fat women. I don’t know if I’ve ever really seen this in any other game? I’m shocked to get it from Capcom first.

You can find golden glowing beetles around the world. They raise your encumbrance limit by some amount each. But encumbrance is a mechanic no matter what, it just gets slightly less restrictive(unless your on pc and mod it out)

I didn’t play the last one. I can be very interested in simulation-driven RPGs but not when the angle they’re simulating is harsh encumbrance rules and endlessly fiddly inventory management. A quick way to make a miserable experience in my book

Now that I'm at the very tail end of like 5 major improvements, I'm *EXTREMELY* pleased with how they turned out.
Encumbrance system that's not a total drag, bunch of fun little upgrades, cooking system, and made the bosses all have an extra gimmick that makes them nasty.

So now the Florida count is up to 2 Republicans who see loyalty to Trump as an encumbrance to their election-Daniels and Salazar. Since Trump’s home is in Florida must really bruise his delicate but large ego. Oh well, moving on, he deserves it.

The thing is... it all changes after the election. If the polls are accurate, and Trump doesn't pull off some kind of successful self-coup to deny the voters, then he's a duck that's lame. And his party will see him as an encumbrance, not a talisman.

Carrying capacity of 16 str is 240 pounds. So he can hup a lot of people over his shoulder and carry them off but it'd still be attention-getting, so concerns re: stealth apply. In ye olde days he'd be running into encumbrance penalties, too. Pretty sure that's a variant rule somewheres still.

Yes: much of my enjoyment comes from the ROH's (as was) subsidised tickets for young people. The fault isn't with the companies - it's that successive governments have viewed them as an embarrassing encumbrance rather than an globally respected industry.
