In September, IL became the first state to completely #EndMoneyBail!

Now we're working with Rep.West & Sen.Elgie Sims to pass the Pretrial Success Act, an appropriations request to expand access to services for people awaiting trial.

Advocates in Connecticut are calling to #EndMoneyBail & they are pointing to the Pretrial Fairness Act as the proof it can work.

Since the law took effect last September, both pretrial jailing & crime rates are down!

Our coalition first met nine year ago today. Since then, we've built a statewide movement that made Illinois the first state in the country to #EndMoneyBail. Together, we continue to transform our state's pretrial system.
