<article data-history-node-id="429699" about="https://www.middleeasteye.net/live-blog/live-blog-update/msf-outraged-israeli-killing-15th-colleague-gaza" class="live-blog-update default clearfix"> <h2> <a href="https://www.middleeasteye.net/live-blog/live-blog-update/msf-outraged-israeli-killing-15th-colleague-gaza" rel="bookmark"> <span class="field field-title">MSF outraged by Israeli killing of 15th colleague in Gaza</span> </a> </h2> <div class="content"> <div class="field field-field-text"><p>The medical charity Doctors Without Borders (MSF) voiced "sorrow and outrage" following the death on Sunday of a colleague fatally hit by Israel in&nbsp;Gaza.</p> <p>Abed El Hameed Qaradaya, 43, succumbed to shrapnel injuries sustained in an Israeli attack on Thursday and which had killed MSF colleague Omar Hayek and injured several others, MSF said on Sunday.</p> <p>"The attack, carried out by Israeli forces in Gaza, struck a street where our teams were waiting to take a bus to go to work at MSF field hospital in Deir Al-Balah. All staff were wearing MSF vests, clearly identifying them as medical humanitarian workers," the Geneva-based NGO said in a statement.</p> <p>El Hameed is the 15th MSF staff member killed during Israel's&nbsp;two-year war on Gaza, and the third in less than 20 days.</p> <p>"His loss is immense and has a tragic impact on his loved ones, MSF and the health system in&nbsp;Gaza," the organisation&nbsp;said.</p> <p>"For 18 years, Abed El Hameed was a cornerstone of MSF's physiotherapy department in&nbsp;Gaza.
