__ __ __ __ __ __ __ Published May 24, 2026 by Michael Le Pard Red Bull KTM Factory Racing’s Josep Garcia and Andrea Verona delivered a perfect weekend at round three of the 2026 FIM EnduroGP World Championship in Finland, locking out the top two positions in EnduroGP on both days of racing while also securing double class victories. Following three rounds, the pair now sit first and second in the overall EnduroGP championship standings, while also leading their respective Enduro1 and Enduro2 title fights. Garcia made an exceptional start to Saturday’s racing. Topping all three tests on the opening lap, he quickly built up a nine-second advantage as they ended lap one of three. Locked in a close battle with teammate Verona throughout the day, the reigning EnduroGP champion traded the lead multiple times before ultimately finishing second overall by less than one second. Despite narrowly missing the victory, Josep still held a commanding 47-second advantage over third place, while dominating the Enduro1 category with a two-minute and two-second margin of victory. Sunday saw Garcia and his KTM 250 EXC-F return to the top step of the podium as he took control of the race from the opening test and never relinquished the lead. Gradually extending his advantage throughout the day, the Spaniard remained calm, despite pressure from Verona, to secure the overall victory by just 1.3 seconds. Garcia also extended his unbeaten Enduro1 run in 2026, taking his sixth class win from six race days. Verona enjoyed a breakthrough Saturday performance in Finland to secure his first overall EnduroGP victory of the season. After settling into a strong rhythm on lap two, the Italian dominated the latter stages of the day and went head-to-head with Garcia in an incredibly close fight for the win. Delivering when it mattered most, Andrea topped the final test to emerge victorious by less than one second while also taking another Enduro2 class win. The Italian carried that form into Sunday and remained in the fight for victory throughout the day. After two laps, Verona had claimed two test wins and finished second in the remaining four, keeping the pressure on Garcia heading into the final lap. Winning two of the final three tests, Andrea mounted a late charge but ultimately finished just 1.3 seconds behind his teammate in second overall. He still completed the weekend with another Enduro2 victory, his fifth class win from six race days this season. Following three rounds, Garcia continues to lead the overall championship standings with an 11-point advantage over Verona. The Spaniard remains unbeaten in Enduro1 and now holds a commanding 29-point lead in the class standings. Verona strengthens his hold on second overall while extending his Enduro2 championship lead to 19 points following his double class victory in Finland. The 2026 FIM EnduroGP World Championship resumes next month with a double-header in Fafe, Portugal, beginning with the GP of Portugal I on June 12-14. **Josep Garcia:** _“We’ve had a really good GP here in Finland with some strong results. Yesterday was a little frustrating because the overall win was so close, but to take P2 in EnduroGP and another win in Enduro1 was still important. Today the goal was to start strong and stay consistent all day, and we managed to do that. I’m really happy to take the overall win and another victory in Enduro1. I also had a pretty big crash in the second Enduro Test after hitting a tree at speed, so I’m relieved to come away okay. Yesterday we took the overall win, which was a great result, and today we were fighting for it again right until the final test.
