I mean they have a year to hire an entire ship yards worth of enginners and managers, and maybe optimisticaly that long to get the actual craft workers.

(There is a reason why my academic practice as an engineer is not actually in traditional engineering fields of study, there is mutual opposition to this foe scientism a lot of Academy Enginners adopt and my refusal to accept it)

Finally, also very enginnering professor to assume that a pure math result should matter to you in short term for it to be important instead of being a thing for our actual physics colleagues to work with for years before we can get something “usefull” for it to be usefull to Enginners.

OK, one last heart attack about climate change:
I don’t think you should interview climate scientist about the future of climate change. Their profession is fundamentally reactive to conditions. They are not proactive actors, instead you should interview folks like public works or Enginners.

Real talk, though, if I may be allowed though; I do think the enginners at Allen Bradley and Siemens have been negligent as far as responsibly developing products they have known for decades that people keep plugging them in unsecured, and they still keep making it easy!
Also, so I can get credit for saying it first on here, is this an active counterintelligence campaign? This is a phenomenal way to exhaust defenders with very little actual operational costs.

With senior enginners to learn from. 3rd shift is not how you do that, for that you should be placing your 3-5 year experience folks so that way they can take advantage of the greater freedom afforded by it being third shift to practice making decisions unsupported, and to try out for moving up.
