Last month, the Canadian Armed Forces announced that after years of declining enrollment, it had seen a surge in enlistments since Trump took office. (Canadian officials couldn’t attribute the new rash of interest to Trump’s threats, but they didn’t rule it out, either.)
What If Trump is serious about annexing Canada?

Once again, Bluesky was all over this when it was reported that DHS accelerated hiring and reduced training. Especially our Milsky community because we all saw thus with the "Surge" enlistments debacle.
Now @apnews.com has a deeply reported story confirming the recently-hired ICE officer who shot a man in Maine had serious mental health issues and a long history of violence against women.
This comes after ICE slashed hiring standards and rushed some into the field before background checks cleared.

They prey on the poor and what’s left of the middle class. That’s why you won’t see free college tuition in the US - they need people to enlist to get the GI Bill. If they gave even two years free, enlistments would drop.
