Okay, but if you enslave anything that might be conscious, you must face all the consequences of slaveholding.
While I do think much current talk of AI consciousness is deranged, possibly AI psychosis-induced, I also don't think philosophers have a robust basis to decisively debunk it either.

I also believe they should be prevented from being able to impregnate other people when they use that ability to violate, torture and enslave their victims. They shouldn't be rewarded with a family or a legacy.

It doesn't pretend to be friendly or harmless to lure you. It won't try to enslave you and spend days or years torturing you. There are somethings worse than death. Bears can kill you. Men can do the worse things.
